Unser Umstieg auf den Holo Audio Spring 3 Level 2: Musikgenuss pur! Kurz zur Vorgeschichte: Wir waren auf der Suche nach einer Veränderung für unsere Kette und sind dabei auf Magna Hifi gestoßen. Wir müssen hier vorab ein riesiges Lob loswerden: Der Service dort ist einfach grandios. Super sympathisch, extrem hilfsbereit und eine ehrliche, kompetente Beratung. Magna Hifi hat uns den Holo Audio Spring 3 (Level 2) ans Herz gelegt – und was sollen wir sagen? Ein Volltreffer! Wir sind vom Umstieg absolut begeistert. Unser bisheriger Maßstab war der PS Audio PerfectWave MKII. Unser restliches Setup ist extrem sauber gefiltert (Schnerzinger Wanddose, Isotek Gleichstromfilter, Gigawattnetzleiste). Der Holo wird über einen Eversolo T8 (per I2S mit Audioquest Vodka) gefüttert. Über eine Rotel Vorstufe gehts in Monoblöcke von Audiolab und in ein Paar Magnepan 1.7 Flächenstrahler samt REL T9x Sub. Wer Magnepans kennt, weiß: Die Dinger sind wie ein Röntgengerät und decken jeden Fehler gnadenlos auf. Der Unterschied: Delta-Sigma vs. R2R (Holo). Der Wechsel vom PS Audio (klassischer Delta-Sigma-Wandler) zum Holo (diskretes R2R-Netzwerk im NOS-Modus) ist wie der Sprung von einer perfekten Digitalkamera zu analogem Kinofilm. Der PS Audio hat ein tolles, sauberes "HiFi-Bild" abgeliefert und uns über zig Jahre hinweg sehr viel Freude bereitet. Aber der Holo macht in seinem reinen NOS-Modus (Non-Oversampling) einfach nur echte Musik. Wo der PS Audio als Delta-Sigma-DAC durch seine digitale Filterung oft eine minimale, sterile Härte mitbringt, ist beim Holo diese künstliche Kante komplett weg. Was uns beim Hören so begeistert: Gänsehaut-Faktor: Stimmen stehen so plastisch und greifbar im Raum, dass man unwillkürlich die Augen schließt. Das klebt überhaupt nicht an den Flächen, die Bühne geht wahnsinnig tief auf. Echte Instrumente: Ein Klavier klingt nicht mehr nur nach sterilen Tönen, sondern man hört den hölzernen Resonanzkörper. Becken schwingen butterweich und ohne nerviges Zischen aus. Timing und Fluss: Die Musik fließt viel natürlicher. Der Hintergrund ist Oled schwarz. Zusammen mit dem REL-Subwoofer ist der Bass unfassbar straff und trocken. Das Ganze spielt wie aus einem Guss. Ein wichtiger Tipp aus der Praxis: Glaubt den Berichten im Netz – der Zauberkasten braucht ewig zum Einspielen. Frisch aus der Box klang er noch etwas gebremst. Nach gut 250 bis 300 Stunden geht aber die Sonne auf. Und nutzt unbedingt den I2S-Eingang, der ist hier die absolute Königsklasse! Unser Fazit: Der Holo Spring 3 Level 2 ist ein super DAC. Danke an Magna Hifi in den schönen Niederlanden für diesen genialen Tipp! Der DAC hat unserer Kette genau das gegeben, was uns unbewusst immer gefehlt hat: Pure Emotionalität und diesen analogen Schmelz, ohne dass auch nur ein einziges Detail verloren geht. Ein absoluter Traumwandler!

Het powerfilter (Tai Hang Power Enhancer) Is een must have.... Het doet zijn werk absoluut perfect, hij stuurt diverse high end apparaten aan met erg veel detail. Om inzicht te geven in wat .... Krell, Audio Research, en een Volledig buizen Voorversterker. Dit is een apparaat dat je ( eigenlijk ) moet bezitten, en zeker voor die prijs die Magna Hifi er voor vraagt. P.S. ik heb diverse duurdere powerfilter in huis en in huis gehad. Mvg, een echte audiophile !!!!

I use it with a LAIV Micro DAC via an I2S connection, so it does the heavy lifting. The result is an analog-like sound—clean with lots of detail, dynamic, very engaging, and never tiring.

I was not expecting much improvement after upgrading from Singxer SU2, but this is an improvement. At least with an external clock.

Würde ich wieder kaufen. Noch besser als je erhofft in meinem Setup. Meine Probleme vorher waren: harsches und irgendwie unruhiges Klangbild, und teilweise auch zu scharfe, sehr unangenehme Höhen. Diese Ruhe jetzt im Klangbild und der Hintergrund, unglaublich. Auch der Bassklang hat nicht unwesentlich davon profitiert. Nach ca. 3 Tagen im 24 Stunden Dauerbetrieb mit Signal, war das Gerät annähernd auf seiner Bestleistung angekommen, wie ich es heute kenne. Das Gerät wird im Betrieb relativ warm, aber keinesfalls heiss. War während der grossen Hitzewelle nicht mal Ansatzweise der Rede wert. Ich schalte das Gerät, sowie auch alle anderen Komponenten immer komplett vom Strom ab, wenn ich keine Musik höre. Nach dem Einschalten ist der Audio SI-1 meiner Wahrnehmung nach sofort dort wo er sein soll, und benötigt keine Aufwärmzeit. Man braucht übrigens meiner Meinung nach auch keine HiFi Anlage im obersten 4-stelligen Euro Bereich oder gar darüber, um den Effekt solcher Geräte wahrzunehmen. Ich betreibe den Audio SI-1 an einem Marantz CD50n Streamer mit Marantz Model 50 Verstärker. ISP Router/Modem/Switch>noch ein Switch (kein Audio Switch)>Audio SI-1>Streamer>Vollverstärker. Nebenbei: Das war meine erste Bestellung bei Magna HiFi, und dann gleich noch im etwas höheren Preissegment. Der gesamte Lieferprozess von der Bestellung bis zum Erhalt in der Schweiz war sehr schnell und völlig unproblematisch.

k kocht de Matrix Audio TT-1 vanwege zijn flexibiliteit en goede beoordelingen. En ik ben niet teleurgesteld. De software werkt feilloos en intuïtief. Qobuz Connect, UPnP rendering (voor gebruik met Audirvana) en native DSD streaming zijn voor mij noodzakelijke functies en dit alles werkt zoals verwacht. Het geluid van de TT-1 is zonder meer goed. Detail, dynamiek en rust vallen me op. Het gebruik van een externe lineaire voeding maakt het toch al goede geluid merkbaar beter. Ik heb hiervoor een 12 V sBooster BOTW en dat is een aanrader. De TT-1 heb ik zowel met coax als usb met kwalitatief goede kabels verbonden met mijn Chord Qutest DAC. Het geluid via coax klinkt net wat beter, zeker bij langer luisteren. Dit geeft mij het vermoeden dat de timing van het signaal beter wordt gedaan door de TT-1 dan door de Qutest. Ik gebruik de USB connectie alleen bij het afspelen van hogere resoluties DSD. Als de DAC een I2S aansluiting zou hebben, zou dat mijn voorkeur hebben. Ook klinkt de TT-1 iets beter bij gebruik van Audirvana dan bij Qobuz Connect of bij het afspelen van bestanden van mijn NAS via de software van de TT-1. Bottomline: De TT-1 is een zeer goede Streaming Transport met veel mogelijkheden. Met dank aan Rob en Jos voor de ondersteuning bij aankoop.

De Cyan 2 is echt een uitstekende DAC. DAC die ik daarvoor gebruikte was de topping D90 (Eerste edition). In vergelijking met de Cyan 2, heeft de Cyan 2 veel meer details in de bass en mid range. Wat ik ook graag wil vermelden dat ik het zeer plezierig vond om te winkelen bij MagnaHifi. Zoals een persoonlijke brief bij je bestelling vond ik echt super.

I was looking for a good network switch. I was torn between the 10Pro (Vinshine) and the 8PRO+. In the end, I chose this one because of the 10MHz input and output instead of two outputs. Both are fantastic... the 10Pro is just slightly better but no 10MHz input... choices :)

If you have a very good and well balanced system these fuses are really the ice on the cake. I already had installed SR Purple and Pink fuses in all my electronics except in the DAC (Norma Revo DAC-2). After a good period of burning-in (> 300 hrs) the sound become more relaxed, calm, nuanced and at the same timemore accurate. Hard to believe but very nice! As always Rob and Jos provided an excellent service.

The Holo Spring 3 KTE sounds brilliant after about 150 hours. Open, detailed, natural... exactly what I had hoped for!

Awesome, very natural sound, not artificially edged... so the nuances can be easy recognized. The sound is never fatiguing, with no particular forced whoosh effects, and therefore perceived simply as natural; everything is well-presented and full, not razor-like, which would flatten the sound, but allowing instead the breadth and depth of the space and the correct positioning of the instruments within it to be perceived. In other words, a more relaxed and pleasantly three-dimensional sound compared to other DACs (sometimes made forcibly more incisive at the expense of a less realistic, more artificial and tiring result to listen to)

I had an excellent experience purchasing my Holo Audio May KTE from Magna Hifi. Communication was outstanding from the very beginning. Jos and Kos were always quick to respond, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. The DAC was carefully packed, shipped quickly, and arrived in perfect condition. Even during customs clearance, they provided excellent support, making the whole import process straightforward. The Holo May KTE itself sounds absolutely superb and has exceeded my expectations. I also experienced an optical compatibility issue with my Pioneer CD/SACD player. Although the DAC works perfectly with my HiFi Rose RS150B via USB, Magna Hifi did not simply dismiss the issue—they provided troubleshooting suggestions and even contacted Holo Audio to investigate further. That level of after-sales support is something I truly appreciate. Based on my experience, I can highly recommend Magna Hifi. They combine excellent products with first-class customer service

De kabel werkt perfect.

Puchased the Holo Audio Red streamer from Magna Hifi recently and I’m so pleased with the product it’s exactly what I needed for my system. It’s so easy to set up the manual is not the best but plenty of YouTube tutorials regarding this. The excellent communication with the owner of Magna was first class he was so helpful and went above and beyond to help me with a string of questions including exchange rates to the Uk This is one excellent company and I’ll be using them again for my next purchase.

To be honest: I wasn’t sure what to expect. Coming from a Power Inspired AG1500 230V regenerator (11 years old) I thought the improvement – if any – would be minor. The most important hardware in my equipment: Lyngdorf TDAI-1120 amp, KEF Q950 speakers, Chord Clearway X speaker cables, Sony XR85X95L TV. I live in a modern apartment building. After I replaced all my 12V adaptors last year with Ipower X ones (router, switch and NAS) I was intrigued by the (subtle) improvements I heard. And because the AG1500 was beginning to struggle a bit in warmer weather (with 2 internal fans on high) I decided to go for the Vinshine Taihang Power Enhancer after reading all the glowing online reviews. I was pleasantly surprised to find Magna Hifi is carrying this item in the Netherlands. Turns out the reviews were not lying: I easily heard better separation of instruments, more details, a wider soundstage and a clear increase in (micro)dynamics. Voices lose sharp edges and gain clarity. There’s even less hum from the tiny fan in my NAS :-) The improvements also had a visual impact. I was very much surprised to find that high bitrate 4K YouTube videos looked like I was watching through a window: more micro details, more contrast, more depth to the picture. I’m getting drawn into the music like never before, even with less than stellar recordings. It’s like my audiovisual gear is finally able to show what it is truly capable of. Definitely a very positive transformation…. Needless to say, this one’s a keeper. And to everyone who’s still sceptical: just try it. You can always return it when you’re not convinced, just make sure you conform to the shop’s return policy.

Ik ben tevreden met de DMP A8. Jos was heel hulpvaardig met het instellen van het apparaat en ook met het per post zenden van de factuur!👍👍 Wel jammer dat Rob zijn belofte om voor een handleiding van de dsp te zorgen niet heeft waargemaakt!🤔 Werking van Deezer laat te wensen over, maar daar kunnen jullie niets aan doen!
