I am very happy with this DAC, it sounds very good to my old ears, smooth and detailed. Built like a tank and will probably (exept the OLED screen) live longer than me. This is a plain PCM/DSD - DAC with nothing on it that will go obsolete - ever. It just works with no hiss, no pops between inputs or sample rates, no funny / odd behaviours, nothing. It just do what it is supposed to do. I do not notice it, and that´s meant as a positive ! My only concern is the OLED screen as OLEDs fade over time, but I have set it to time out moments after something is operated and that together with lowest brightness setting should keep it alive for quite some time. When the display is off, there is a faint yellow LED in top left corner behind the display glass that shows that the DAC is powered on. Singxer could just have done as many other brands and simply leave one pixel on the OLED active at all times, but they did not. In my opinion, that is an eye for details. With all that beeing said, the OLED looks much better than a regular backlit LCD would do. The DAC gets a bit warm during use, so make sure it has some air surrounding it. If I could whish for anything, that would be a "studio output level" gain option as that makes life easier for us nerds playing around with room correction DSPs. Output gain can be set to high, raising XLR out to little above 5V RMS (have not checked RCA) Not good, not terrible - and better than nothing. Most other just offers standard 4V (and some brands not even that) So - if you want a plain and simple DAC and can afford to leave some space around it - this one should really be on your list.

This dac is amazing, sounds very well with Master 9 Mk3 with ACSS connection but it's great with Cayin iHA8 as well. I like transparency, dynamic and sturdy bass provided by R1 Mk3. You can't ask more for its price!

A bargain for the price and i think its a no brainer solution to connect an AudioGd R1 to a Master 9 mk3.

Great sound quality, immediately noticeable blacker background, clearly can hear more detail, I was moving from RPI5 setup to this. Few issues like the remote power button is not configurable as the power button on the unit and... that is it. I guess it is not a big deal everything else is great.

Excellent unit. A refinement through and through with a more stable, calmer and more coherent sonic image, in addition to a more "analogue" and liquid imprinting. Nothing is unnaturally rounded off, mind you. Thanks also for the great service provided by Magna Hi-Fi!

I highlighy recommend the Vinshine x LHY SW-10PRO network switch, it provides good value for money compared to other audiophile network switches of the same caliber.

I have now spent some time listening to the Holo Spring 3 DAC in my system and wanted to share my first impressions. The build quality is excellent and the unit feels extremely well made. Technically, it performs exactly as expected and integrates perfectly into my system. Compared to my previous DAC, I hear improved tonal density, a more natural vocal presentation and a deeper soundstage. Bass reproduction is also fuller and more controlled. The presentation feels more organic and relaxed while maintaining a high level of detail. Overall, I am very pleased with the Holo Spring 3 and I expect it to improve even further as it accumulates more playing hours(Sugden a21se+Auralic aries G1+Proac d18). After 2 months, I can surely say this is the best DAC/amp combo I have ever had. Sound is very detailed and airy with 8x and smoother (even if a bit less precise) in NOS mode. With Audirvana SoX upsampler you can have the best of both worlds, feeding the NOS mode with the software reconstruction. Power wise, it driver anything. My HE6SEV2 is already plenty loud at 60/99. Rob is very kind and heplful, so buy with confidence, this is a bargain😁

Better imaging and richer sound. The spatial mapping has also improved. It does exactly what it says in its description, no cable voodoo, just pure material use and physics. The most expensive cable I've ever bought, but it was worth it.

En ce qui concerne le Spring3 L2: Points positifs: qualité générale du son (plus ample soundstage et plus de douceur des hautes et moyennes fréquences), qualité constructive et parfaite intégration esthétique dans le système audio. Points négatifs: absence d’une prise trigger in, pas possible d’allumer et d’éteindre l’appareil via la télécommande, durée déconcertante de 1 seconde du signal d’entrée (locking) lors de chaque changement de morceau.

Ich habe lange nach einem Streaming Transport gesucht, der einfach zuverlässig funktioniert und mich nicht ständig mit unnötigen Funktionen oder komplizierten Menüs beschäftigt. Nach einigen Vergleichen fiel meine Wahl auf den Holo Audio Red. Ein wichtiger Kaufgrund war für mich das bereits integrierte lineare Netzteil. Viele Mitbewerber benötigen erst ein zusätzliches Netzteil, um ihr volles Potenzial auszuschöpfen. Dadurch steigen die Kosten und es entsteht zusätzlicher Platzbedarf. Beim Holo Audio Red ist alles in einem Gehäuse untergebracht, was ich persönlich sehr schätze. Klanglich hat mich der Red vom ersten Tag an überzeugt. Die Wiedergabe wirkt ruhig, sauber und transparent, ohne dabei steril zu klingen. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Attacke und Spritzigkeit bei bestimmten Musikstücken. Die Musik besitzt einen gewissen Druck und eine Lebendigkeit, die mich teilweise an gute Schallplattenwiedergabe erinnert. Da ich mich seit vielen Jahren mit verschiedenen Streaming Lösungen beschäftigt habe, weiß ich es heute besonders zu schätzen, wenn ein Gerät einfach zuverlässig funktioniert. Nach Hause kommen, die Streaming App öffnen, verbinden, auf Play drücken und Musik hören. Genau so stelle ich mir einen Streaming Transport vor. Einen kleinen Kritikpunkt habe ich allerdings. In meinem Setup wird über Tidal Connect derzeit maximal 44,1 kHz ausgegeben. Über andere Anwendungen und Protokolle sind jedoch problemlos höhere Auflösungen möglich. Da der Holo Audio Red verschiedene Softwarelösungen unterstützt, lässt sich dieses Thema bei Bedarf beispielsweise mit Volumio umgehen. Unterm Strich habe ich genau das gefunden, was ich gesucht habe. Für mich war der Holo Audio Red definitiv die richtige Entscheidung.

Unkomplizierte Bestellung, sehr schneller Versand nach Deutschland und ein erstklassiger Singxer SDA-6 PRO2 DAC. Ich werde hier jederzeit wieder bestellen, denn manche Marken und Geräte sind in Deutschland nicht so einfach zu bekommen. Schön, wenn man eine sehr gute Alternative wie Magna Hifi hat.

J'ai longtemps hésité avant d'acheter cette carte. Si vous avez un pc rempli de ventilateurs et autres sources d’émission d'ondes comme une grosse carte graphique, alors attention au résultat final. Par contre, si vous préparez un pc hyper dépollué, c'est une excellente carte capable de rivaliser avec un très bon transport coutant très cher. J'ai réussi à être dans cette configuration et je suis très satisfait du résultat. Je l'utilise en Aes/Ebu parfaitement stable avec mon Dac nano 3d lab. Attention avec ce Dac, ça décroche en coaxial. Service client suivi par Josh irréprochable.

Een fantastische DAC die het beste tot zijn recht komt met de Mano streamer via I2S. Komt voor mij dicht in de buurt van een analoog geluid.

Using a PC as my source, I paired this DDC with my R-8HE MK3 using a Ricable Supreme (0.5m) I2S cable. The results are spectacular and the difference it makes in the system is night and day. The soundstage depth and space are incredible. The instruments are clearly pushed way back behind the speakers, creating a brilliant, layered 3D presentation. If you own an R8HE DAC, this digital interface is not just an addition—it is an absolute must-have!
