AUDIOBYTE Super Hub -Propriatery Design
In contrast to competitors, who predominantly rely on streaming products built around Rpi or off-the-shelf hardware modules, SuperHUB is constructed from the ground up on an exclusive Audiobyte hardware platform. To achieve the best possible results, we designed and built a new mainboard from scratch with a 10-layer custom PCB that allowed our engineers to optimize the signal path. Together with a linear power supply, this guarantees a seamless synergy between audio and CPU hardware, culminating in an exceptional audio experience.
USE CASES
For all its inputs, particularly traditional digital formats like SPDIF and AES/EBU, SuperHUB employs a robust jitter elimination technique. Leveraging Audiobyte's proprietary technology centered on digital PLLs and buffer stages, it achieves an impressive up to -60 dB reduction in incoming jitter.
CHASSIS
With such special hardware, we had to push de envelope for a matching case, so we designed a chassis from a solid block of aluminium, precision machined to house our components. The result is a blend of beauty and functionality, ensuring high structural integrity, adequate cooling and vibration resistance in a package that minimises seams and joints. Before anodization, the case undergoes a sandblasting treatment that results in a smooth surface a matte look that elegantly compliments your audio setup.
DIGITAL PHASE LOCKED LOOP
A phase-locked loop (PLL) is an electronic circuit with a voltage or voltage-driven oscillator that constantly adjusts to match the frequency of an input signal. PLLs are used to generate, stabilize, modulate, demodulate, filter or recover a signal from a "noisy" communications channel where data has been interrupted.
Control: Effortless navigation through the IPS capacitive touchscreen, complemented by user-friendly Android and iOS control apps.

At the heart of the SuperHUB lies an AMD ZYNQ 7th generation SoC (system-on-chip) integrating hardware and software operations within a single chip. While the countless hours of concealed development efforts may remain unseen, the result is unmistakable – a fluid and continuous stream of music that bestows enduring audio delight.

AUDIOBYTE is a sister brand of Rockna Electronics, a manufacturer of high-quality audio equipment since 1999. While Rockna Electronics is set to pursue elite levels of performance with no compromise, the mission of Audiobyte is to close the gap between computer and high-end audio. In 2023, AUDIOBYTE became an independent company, with a completely new, state of the art production facility.
Years of extensive research and development resulted in some of the most refined technologies for an inspiring and insightful audio reproduction experience. In the Audiobyte line-up we implemented features that have been reserved, until now, only for the most extravagant audio hardware. Many solutions were built from scratch to offer a package that has little or no competition at these price levels.
Each piece we ship is made to order, hand built and individually tested. In 2019 we moved to a new research and production facility that expands our manufacturing capabilities and enhances our control over the most minute details and ensure we stay true to our commitment.
