Excellent DAC for the money! I compared it to DAC's at double and triple the price and liked it best. I find R2R DAC's the most natural sounding esp. versus chip DAC's - but that's taste I think. With the Cyan 2, although it sits in my second smaller rig I have the feeling to get really close to the sound of the instruments in live concerts. I am very, very happy with my purchase!

I’ve been enjoying the Holo Audio Spring 3 DAC for quite some time, and now I’ve added the Bliss KTE to complete the setup. The build quality is stunning. Solid, refined, and made to last. Sonically, it’s on another level: effortless control, a wide and spacious soundstage, and a beautifully natural tone that makes every listening session a real pleasure. The unit does get quite warm during use, but that’s completely normal according to Jos from Magna Hifi. This combination delivers both precision and musicality in perfect balance: A true endgame setup I’ll be enjoying for many years to come.

I’d been thinking about getting the SA1 for a while, but when I saw that the new SA2 was released, I decided to go for it. I don’t know exactly how the SA1 sounded, but this one plays beautifully. Very happy with it and excellent service from Magna Hifi!

I’ve owned and compared several headphone amplifiers over the years, including the SA1 v2, Schiit Asgard 3, and Topping A90. The SA2, however, is a big step forward. Thanks to its power and effortless drive, it plays with a sense of ease and fluidity the others can’t quite match. It simply sounds more natural and engaging. Definitely a keeper!

L'Audio GD DI-25HE est une pure merveille de DDC brancher en I2S le son est doux, des basses de folie, une image stéréo large, les aigues WOW une caresse que de détails dans le son j'ai plus de mots et tout çà sans être vraiment roder çà promet Merci Jos toujours présent comme d'habitude. A bientôt pour un prochaine achat surement l'Audio GD R27HE Upgrade Silver j'imagine déjà le mariage avec l'excellent DI-25HE.

Thanks for the Singxer su-2! It's very worthwhile. Via HDMI cable connected the I2S output on the Singxer to the I2S-H input on the Musetec DA005 DAC. And there was music! Quality: more precise, more delicate highs, a firmer stereo image, and noticeably more space.

After several comparisons, the best overall result clearly comes from the I²S connection combined with the fiber network. A more stable and focused sound image, a wider and deeper soundstage, and an impressive black background and micro-detail retrieval that I had never reached before with my previous streamer (SOtM SMS200 Ultra). The T8 is truly an exceptional device. Musical, precise, and remarkably refined.

I didn’t see this coming, pure musical enjoyment! The only downside is that switching inputs while using USB isn’t ideal. Luckily, Magna Hifi solved it with a simple “USB Release” button on the back. Clever solution, works perfectly!

De Holo Red heeft het altijd meer dan prima gedaan, maar de Eversolo T8 wint het toch! Qua geluidsbeleving maar vooral het gebruikersgemak.

I’m extremely pleased with the Eversolo T8, it delivers impressively detailed and engaging sound. While it may not quite reach the level of some of the high-end streamers I’ve compared it with, those alternatives cost more than twice as much. At this price point, its performance is outstanding and hard to beat.

I am enjoing my music (the combo RED+CYAN2 is amaìzing-thank you very much for having suggest this set up). I also solved the problem with my CD using the coaxial input. Overall I am super happy of the solution you provide me and all the support. Thank you very much!!

Build quallity is excelent, like any Holo product. The side is a bit more copper colored, than the more orange sides of the other Holo products. But its not that far off. What you need to know: The LEDs are super bright. And I mean "You can almost read in the dark with them." bright. You could screw it open, pull the dark grey piece from the front cable connector out and then disconnect the cable I guess, but I just have it face the wall. It only has the off-switch at the power supply at the back. Doesnt really get warm, so probably not a problem itself, aside the LEDs. Doesnt automaticly switch from USB to another source, if your connected USB source is still on. I only have one source, so not a problem for me. Sound is good, as far as I can tell. I have it connected to the Holo Bliss via XLR to my Meze Elite + Adam D3V, and I think it is better than the RME ADI-2 I had befor. But its hard to tell, as the Bliss itself has a much greater impact on the sound. I think it does "amplify" the characteristics of the Bliss a bit, but that could be imagination. The real reason I got it in the first place is the galvanicaly isolated USB. I had the problem, that my USB transfered a ground noise, amplified by the Bliss and active speakers, that made it very audible. Thats completly gone with the Cyan. Overall its a cheap alternative to the other Holo DACs, if you can live with the feature drought. Its not perfect. Buy the May is there for that. For the price, it doesnt matter to me. Iam not willing to spend the money on the extras you get with a Spring 3 at this moment. And I doubt their will be much of an audible improvement over the Cyan with my current usecase as a headphone DAC. Its build for good sound and nothing else.

Firstly, I want to mention that my experience with the customer care from Jos and Rob from Magna Hifi has been outstanding. I had compatibility issues with a Holo Red streamer, which could not be resolved—despite support from Jos and Rob. After a listening session at their studio, and being impressed by their excellent service, I decided to switch to their Mano Ultra streamer mkIII.5 with AES output, Gentoo player, Synergistic Pink fuse, and Farad L2-C DC cable. My setup includes a nucleus Roon server, a Jadis DS50s integrated tube amplifier, and a Schiit Yggdrasil DAC. This has been the best upgrade to my digital system: the noise floor dropped significantly, and digital glare finally disappeared. The soundstage is more three-dimensional, details come through more clearly without sounding fatiguing, and overall the system has taken on a more analog character with better texture of the sound, and improved separation between voices and instruments. In my setup, the L2-C Silver cable expanded the soundstage and dynamics compared to the standard cable, but I found it a bit too sharp for my taste. The L2-Copper cable gave a slightly smoother, more natural sound. The streamer benefits greatly from a high-quality Ethernet cable (I now use an AudioQuest Vodka). Overall, the Mano Ultra clearly outperforms the Holo Red (which, by the way, already sounded very good). I was really surprised by the improvement in sound quality that a streamer can bring. Before considering an upgrade to your DAC, I strongly recommend trying a streamer like the Mano Ultra. You can buy from Magna Hifi with complete confidence!
