Le DI20HE est exceptionnel ! Très réactif aux changements de câbles : c'est bon signe. Plus de détail, mais sans être agressif car tout en douceur. La matière est là également, et associé à la dynamique très significative, le résultat est très vivant. Et pourtant entre un gros steamer et un très bon DAC (APL), le gain est incroyable. Merci à Magna pour la rapidité de livraison, et surtout à JOS pour sa patience pour régler quelques soucis avec un Lumin A1.

Straight out of the box the Serene pre-amp sounded fantastic and as a bonus the XLR1 out used as a headphone amp sounded also very nice. An incredible improvement over the the Audio-GD M1 pre-amp. Much bigger difference than I thought it would be. So far I'm really happy with the pre-amp! :-)

I love my Holo Audio system. They now have had the required burn-in and they sound fantastic. It a major upgrade. Thank you for the great support.

SERENE KTE performs nicely right out of the box. It finally brought back to life my home theatre and media center with all it's analogue and digital connections all together. In the "digital" part of my chain SERENE performed precisely as expected. Connected to HoloAudio MAY KTE, it is absolutelly not in the way of sound, it is transparent and precise, like it is not there. However in the "analogue" chain SERENE has surprised me ! With it's crazy level of transparency it has shown exactly what I have - good phono stage (from Kitsune HifI) and somewhat average turntable. But ! Now I CAN hear all smallest imperfections coming from the turntable. My analogue chain became really sensitive to quality of a records. The good ones are simply - EXCELLENT ! The medium ones - honestly, you just don’t want to listen to. IMHO, this is the whole point of "vinyl story" - hunting for and collecting the ultimate quality recordings. My previous pre-amp was hiding all this and coloring the sound with mellow low registers. One could have considered that being better, may be... But SERENE is just plain honest. At last, don't underestimate break-in period. Now, over alsmost four days of constand listening "out of the box" harshness went away and SERENE settled well into the system. Highly reccomeded!

I thought I would send you some initial listening impressions after a longer music session last night. In a word ‘Wow!’ I have ‘tested’ the Serene KTE preamp using my Technics SL 1200G turntable and some high quality half-speed mastered vinyl recordings. These sounded even better than when played through my Schiit Freya S balanced preamp. Both the May KTE and Serene KTE are clearly superbly designed and built products. It was a bit of a gamble spending so much when I already had a good DAC and Preamp, but the new Holo audio gear has exceeded all expectations. I think I now have my ‘end game’ audio system..for now 😉 Thanks you Jos and Rob for your advice and help.

After the burn time I am very satisfied with the MagnaHifi equipment. The Mano Ultra player, the HE1 preamplifier and the Master 3 power amplifier are of high quality. Although my Dac and speakers are lower class, the music is very enjoyable. The spatial effect is by far the best I've ever heard :-D The sense of presence of musical instruments and singers is unique. I only wish the HE1 was not so big :)

It is outstanding DAC. Sound quality is amazing. I use R28 NOS as DAC/preamp with Nelson Pass’s amplifier Aleph J connected via XLR output. I also satisfied with service of Magna Hifi.

4 letters : OMFG, i'm speechless..... As expected, the DIHE20 (not burned in yet ofc) is putting the 7.77 in non reached level so far......soundstage is huge, and bass are so perfect....... Just a little black side sound, the DIHE20 must burnin i suppose TY Jos!!

The R7HE MK2 is the 4th R2R Audio GD DAC I've owned and the best by a large margin. The MK2 DAC really shines brilliantly when connected with a low phase noise 10Mhz external clock. All inputs sound better than previous generations of Audio GD DACs. The MK2 is a clear winner and has taken my audio system to the next level like no other component. Be warned the MK2 takes many hours of burn-in to sound its very best. At least 1,000 hrs. You will be handsomely rewarded for your patience.

The gear looks good and after some 40 hours of break-in it sounds already great: tonality well balanced, soundstage expanded (compared to my former setup) every instrument at its proper place, revealing yet natural. Miles Davis' ‚Tutu‘ for example always sounded a bit sharp and harsh; now the SERENE-MAY-combination provides more details in well separated layers but still a homogeneous sound. Comparing some high-res-files with CD-quality differences seem apparent even in non-audiophile recordings like RHCP ,Blood, Sugar, Sex Magic‘. Finally, the dac seems to love the piano and so do my wife and I. Up to now it is a great pleasure and maybe the best is yet to come.

Using the Matrix Audio Element S via USB out in a Singxer SU 2 and from there via I2S to a HoloAudio Spring 2. First of all: Compatibility is outstanding! And regarding sound quality from my pov a dream team - highly recommended! The Singxer clarifies a bit, it is a subtle nuance in timing, but it improves maybe from 98% to 100%. I switched several times fore and back but at the end I decided in favour with the Singxer SU 2 („magnified“). Interestingly, recordings with rain, sounds like rain with the Element S, with the Singxer my brain got immediately triggered „it‘s raining“. Great recommendation and service from Magna!

The Singxer SU6 is superior in imaging, texture, bass definition, dynamics and detail.

The sound quality separation , vocals etc has surpassed anything I have ever heard. I'm so happy with the serene , it's a delight to use and I could play the music for endless hours.

Après vingt heures de rodage(surement plus de deux cent heures minimum pour le must ) il chauffe comme mon tube. Le son est deja incroyable. Dynamique et grave tenu dans une main de fer, et med aigus detaillés et doux. L image est deja au debut holigraphique, et clarté et finesse sont au rendez vous. Certe il n est pas encore prêt a. Regater avec mon cayin cs150 base kt150. Mais sur qu il vas être au plus proche. Les graves seront bien plus physique et articulé a souhait. Un vrais king du transistor. Idéal avec un dac holo audio qui profite de sa liquidité et sa fluidité rythmique sans faille. Un magnifique ensemble en devenir. Merci a jos pour ses infos judicieuse. J ai apris la possibilité chez audii gd d installé une entrée en pré amplifiée. Si l envie de transformer se king, miam. Meme si sa sectiin pré integré na pas a rougir de pré specialisé bien connu, cela donne un upgrade possible. Il peut tous piloté sans probleme, sa construction tres serieuse avec le non negative feedback et l ultra linear syst. Un delice a ecouté. Je suis resolument charmé pas se beau et gros bébé. Recommendé sans probleme a tous audioohile ou et melomane. Ecoute pure analogique.

Sounds amazing, sounds great!!

Have been enjoying the Singxer SU6 for about one month now and am very happy with the sound. Am still in the "running in" phase but even now the system is sounding both more musical & much more richly detailed.

I've been listening to this DAC for a few months now and it continues to amaze me and above all it continues to fascinate me. I've had many DACs but this is by far the best I've ever owned.

I recently bought an Audio GD R7 HE Mk2 DAC 50 Ohm version from you. It is sounding extremely good!

The R8 Mk2 arrived yesterday in perfect condition and my initial impression (even with burn-in just starting) is, that it is very good and that it is an improvement over my M7S (can't wait to see where this goes to when burn-in is finished

Cold out of the box (RCA in and out, basic power cable) I am extremely pleased of what I am hearing: tonal accuracy, lower noise floor, taller and deeper soundstage, more articulate bass. And still there is wide room for improvements: longer burn in, use of usb input and acss output, quality power cable, a good external master clock may be.… A big jump closer to the best analogue reproduction!

Thank you very much for great opportunity to get my system to the higher level of SQ. It works phenomenally much more than I´ve expected. I was very satisfied with my older DDC but this is another level of performance!
