Hi, I love my Magna Hifi Mano ULTRA Mk II streamer. I've been using the iPeng/MySquezebox solution, Lyrion today. 

Big, heavy, very good sound. Excellent serivce.

I was interested in a streamer from Magna Hifi, so I reached out to them. I had just bought a new LAIV HARMONY uDAC, and Jos kindly invited me to bring it to their listening studio to help find the right streamer to match. It was a 2.5-hour drive, but totally worth it. I was warmly welcomed with coffee and even a light lunch. Rob really took his time — no rush at all. The best part? I’m sending the LAIV uDAC back and went home with a Holo Audio Cyan 2 and a Mano ULTRA mk3.5 streamer. Absolutely top-notch service!

My understanding streaming is very limited (I am the Baldrick of streaming) so it was quite a big step to buy the Magna Mano mk3.5 over the internet. Both Jos and Rob were very helpful and attentive to my Baldrick level questions, before, during and after installation of the streamer. Plus some other random questions on a NAS drive for my FLAC files.

Even initially, right after switching them on, they don't sound that great. The music is two-dimensional, lacking in timbre, and the bass is completely overemphasized. But as soon as the preamp and power amp duo warm up, the music opens up, i.e., it becomes three-dimensional, and timbres emerge. The bass then sounds really good, too. Furthermore, the preamp and power amp still need to be broken in. The way the preamp and power amp duo already sound, even without a break-in period, and warm, is amazing. I can already say after this short time that I'm absolutely thrilled

I've been using it for quite some time now, but Jos specifically asked me if I might want to share something. Since I find it a bit difficult to put into words, I've done my best. The music through the MU2 sounds liberated—remarkably effortless, even with complex classical pieces. It's addictive. I already had a fantastic audio system, but this surpassed it with surprising ease. A small downside might be the slightly less powerful bass response than what I was used to. Do I miss the bass? Not at all. Adding a preamp—something completely unnecessary—takes away some of the magic. That’s why I’ve connected the MU2 directly to my power amps. There’s no going back... it's truly breathtaking listening. Thank you Jos & Rob for the wonderful service!

On the recommendation of Magna Hifi, I bought this fuse for my Holo Audio Spring KTE. To be honest, I didn’t expect to hear any difference at all. So I was completely surprised by what the fuse did to the sound! I'm giving it 4 stars because I do find it a rather expensive upgrade—but hey, a hobby is allowed to cost something, right? Highly recommended!

I already had a Spring KTE DAC and a Mano ULTRA mk3.5 streamer. Initially, I bought an AudioQuest Vodka. After discussing it with Rob, I decided to try the Pink Faun IL-1. At first, the difference wasn’t that big, but Rob advised me to give the new IL-1 more time. After a week, I switched back to the AudioQuest Vodka—much flatter, less natural. Then I reconnected the IL-1, and it was clearly on another level. What can an HDMI cable do? Just try it and see!

Red has been in almost constant playback since January. Sounds great. Red has been super solid. Zero issues since I received it, and sound quality is stellar as well.

I already owned the excellent Mano Ultra Streamer, and after a discussion with Jos, we concluded that upgrading my Cyan 2 to the Holo Audio Spring Level 2 would significantly enhance the performance. I wasn’t expecting this—wow! This isn’t just the next level; it’s three or four levels up!

I recently purchased the Pink Faun I2S PCI-e bridge from Magna Hifi, and I couldn’t be happier. The service was excellent—fast, friendly, and professional. The Pink Faun upgrade was easy t install and above all a clear improvement in sound quality. Highly recommended!

The transaction was easy. Very professional. Very good communication. Product was delivered within the estimated time frame. Product, a Holo Audio Serene Kitsune preamp is exceptionally good. I received my streamer on Tuesday. Although it's not burned in yet, it already sounds very promising. I'm excited to see where it goes from here.

I'm really impressed with the sound of the MAY DAC on my A-setup in my listening room (Luxmans + B&W 802 D3, digital source: Roon Core server Silent Angel Rhein Z1+ via usb) in its raw state (unplayed) . I was already excited with the sound of Spring 3 DAC on the same setup but the MAY DAC goes one level higher, amazing.... I'm looking forward to see where the sound will go after many hours of playing.

The R-8HE MK3 has arrived, and I’m very happy to say that the issue I previously mentioned with the Master 10 MK2 is now completely resolved. The sound is clear, transparent, and truly impressive. I honestly have no complaints – everything sounds just the way it should, and I’m genuinely enjoying it. I’m very, very thankful for this new DAC – it has made a big difference, and I truly appreciate it. Looking forward to your future upgrades!

The standard for the preamp I was looking for was very high. I had previously tried six units ranging from €3,500 to €12,500. Only the Audio-GD - HE1 MK3 provided the hoped-for match. It delivers everything I was looking for: a soundstage in all dimensions. A great openness of the soundstage. Micro-details as well as the inner cohesion of the music. Excellent timing. The low end where it belongs with perfect intensity. The highs without any nerves or harshness, yet crystal clear. And yes, the 250 hours of burn-in are necessary, but they lead to a very high level of satisfaction. And finally, the service from Jos and Rob is perfect. Thank you very much. The Holo Audio May KTE DAC + the Holo Audio Serene KTE Pre-Amp is for me the "end game", at least for now. Together with my Eversolo DMP A-8 as source and the Rotel RB-1590 Power Amp, the sound coming out of my Bowers & Wilkins Diamond 800 D3 loud speakers is pure music. The wide 3D-soundstage, the perfect imaging, the huge details as well as the "silence" and musicality make my B&W 800 D3 speakers shine. After 5 months of optimization the room with absorbers + diffusors and more important optimizing the speaker setup, I finally got a magic sound, no matter of music genre or resolution (from 44,1 to DSD256). So thank you so much for your recommendation of the Holo Audio Duo. They matched perfect in my system.

Good advice and plenty of time to enjoy the music and the conversation. Thats why I apriciate the service of Magna Hifi. After a good listen to choose between HoloAudio - Spring 3 DAC Level 2 and Audio gd R8HE I decided to go for the Holo. To my taste the Holo gives a little more livelyness to the music, while not being too much "in your face". When connected to my equipment at home and a 100 hour burn in (to be sure) I was getting even more enthousiatic. Much more refined than my old R2R7. On very good recordings it can get intimidating that a complete choir or orchestra enters my small mancave. Only limitations are the neighbours because I live in an apartment. And last but not least, Jos helped me to find a HDMI audio extractor that I can use to play SACD directly though the Holo. We tried this years ago, but my Audio gd did not support dop. When the display showed the magical "dsd 64x" I knew that this was what I had been waiting for for 20 years! Some SACD's are actually not an improvement over CD. But there are some disks that bring back the best of analogue recordings on vinyl. But without any crack and pops. I also apriciate that the Holo does not run so hot as my old Audio gd did. And the option to switch PLL off and on can be usefull. Normally it is on when playing from my Mano. But playing SACD's from a universal Sony, PLL on makes the soudscape more balanced. Several months ago I had bought the Cyan 2 and the Red. It was a "blind" purchase and I relied only on reviews. Strait out of the box the Cyan 2 sounded sharp and boomy, but I was patient, let it burn in for few days and I was rewarded! I have got big, balanced, open, detailed, layered and very natural sound. I also have PS Audio DirectStream DAC MK1. It was $6000 new... And in my ears the Cyan 2 is a better sounding DAC. It provides more details and textures and most importantly it sounds much more natural then the DirectStream. Unfortunately I've got not so pleasant experience with the Red but it is another story... Very happy with the Cyan 2. Highly recommend to those how use only 1 input or several SPDIF inputs.

I connected it to a Topping E30, which cost me only €120 and which, when connected to my SBooster, gave a good sound, but now connecting it to the Farad, it seems like it is a DAC of a much higher level, I even find it hard to believe what I am hearing. Sometimes I think it's all psychological, but I don't think so :). The sound is really good.

I have been looking for a high-quality preamp without unnecessary features, the Holo Audio – SERENE Level 1 is an excellent choice.
