History of Rockna
Founded in 1999 by Nicolae Jitariu in Romania, Rockna Audio was born out of a clear ambition: to create audio equipment capable of revealing music in its most moving and authentic form. What began as a pursuit of better sound quickly grew into a company driven by innovation, where conventional solutions were never enough. Over the past two decades, Rockna has consistently charted its own course—designing and manufacturing every product in-house, from the ground up, without relying on ready-made components.
Today, Rockna is recognized worldwide for its pioneering FPGA-based digital architectures and bespoke R2R DACs—technology that has redefined what’s possible in high-end audio.
